In cooperation with the Akademie der Wissenschaften und der Literatur Mainz (academy of science and literature) and the complete edition of the works of Christoph Willibald Gluck the department of musicology of the Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz invites students from all over the world to take part in the 2nd Mainz Summer School in Musicology.
Under the instruction of Jun.-Prof. Dr. habil. Stefanie Acquavella-Rauch this year's summer school will offer an insight into the field of music philology and Digital Humanities. The program includes courses on music edition as well as visiting events focused on digital questions at the XVI. Internationalen Kongress der Gesellschaft für Musikforschung (14th International Conference of the German Society of Musicology).
Participation is free of charge and financial support for transportation and accommodation will be available. A certificate of participation is issued at the end of the course and credits according to the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) can be obtained. For further information, please see
